Hello, Al! I am interested in learning more about 401 East School Street in Woonsocket, where Charles Cormier lived from 1908 - 1909, and your blog is the only place online where the address is acknowledged as having existed. Are you aware of any post-Cormier history on this property, which I assume has since been torn down and replaced? The address appears on my pre-adoption birth certificate (1969), and I half wonder if the property might have become a maternity home for young girls.

Neil,
As you suspected the place has been torn down and now there is a high-rise building for the elderly. I will see if I can find out what the previous building was like. Send me your email address so that I can let you know what I find out.
