Benjamin Menard dit Bellerose was born September 8, 1784 1. His parents were Francois and Marguerite Audet.  He was baptized the next day in Longueuil, Quebec.

Benjamin married Josephte Bessette on September 30, 1805 at the Cathedral St. Antoine de Pade in Longueuil, Quebec.

Benjamin died on November 11, 1850 in Longueuil at the age of 68.

Father Chaboillez performed and recorded the baptisms, marriages and deaths of most of the Menards in Longueuil.
